February 4, 1972 – July 5, 2025
Mr. W.L. Manning, 53 of Bradley, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at his home in Bradley, Arkansas after an extended period of sickness. Mr. Manning was a beloved son, brother, dad, uncle, cousin and friend. He had been a lifetime resident of Bradley and was a proud 1990 graduate of Bradley High School where he was an outstanding basketball player. In his spare time, he loved to fish, cook on the grill and hang out with his many friends.
Mr. Manning was born on February 4, 1972, to the late Mr. L.W. Manning and Ms. Velmarie Breakfield-Manning, in Bradley, Arkansas, where he was one of seven children. He was preceded in death by his father, Mr. L.W. Manning and two brothers, Mr. Gregory Manning and Mr. Dennis Manning.
He is survived by, and leaves to cherish his many memories, his mother, Ms. Velmarie Manning of Bradley, Arkansas. Three brothers, Mr. Anthony D. Manning of Bradley, Arkansas, Mr. Kerry B. (Pearlie) Manning of Nash, Texas, and Mr. Russell W. Manning (Amy) of Houston, Texas. His only sister, Ms. Joyce M. Manning of Bradley, Arkansas, one son, Mr. Darrius Manning of Magnolia, Arkansas and one daughter, Ms. Kateal Manning of North Carolina. His only granddaughter, Little Miss Addison Marie Manning. His special friend, Ms. Chinkesha Taylor of Bradley, Arkansas. An adopted son, Hayden known by him as “Hay-Hay), a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, other family members and former co-workers.
His service will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at 3:00 P.M. in Greater Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 28 Lafayette 214, Bradley, Arkansas 71826, where Pastor Ricky Taylor serves as Pastor. Pastor James Harris will serve as Officiant and Pastor Sylvester Tatum will serve as Eulogist under the direction of Hamilton-Davis Funeral Home. There will be a public visitation at Hamilton-Davis Funeral Home Chapel, 415 East First Street; Stamps, Arkansas on Friday, July 18, 2025, from 11:00 A.M. until 3:30 P.M. and his interment will be at St. Mary Cemetery, Lafayette County Road 2; Bradley, Arkansas 71826
