Obituary For Winfred Bernard Madison

Mr. Winfred Bernard Madison

March 3, 1972 – October 3, 2022

Mr. Winfred Bernard (Bunny) Madison, 50, of Stamps, Arkansas passed away at Magnolia Regional Medical Center on the evening of Monday, October 3, 2022. Mr. Madison was known by almost everybody in the surrounding area as either “Bunny” or “Tiger.” He had a really huge passion for cooking which seemed to be an inherited trait from his grandmother Ms. Odessa Johnson and his parents Winfred and D.D. who all made sure the people in Stamps and all areas around could come to “The Dairy” and get what seemed to be one of the best fast-food, especially burgers and customer service anywhere. He met Ms. Roxsan Willingham and married her on July 5, 1996 and they spent twenty-six loving years together. He was an employee of Cooper Tire and Rubber of Texarkana, Arkansas until health conditions forced him to have to leave.

Bunny was born to Mr. Winfred Madison and Mrs. Evelyn Deloris Adams-Madison, March, 3, 1972 and would become the oldest of four siblings. He loved to bowl, detail people’s cars and make sure everybody around him always had a good time and good food. He was a very proud Stamps Yellowjacket and graduated in 1991 where he had played football, basketball, baseball and was a drummer with the Yellowjacket band.

He was preceded in death by both of his parents, Winfred and D.D. His grandparents, Mrs. Gurtherlene and Mr. Votis Madison, Sr., Mr. Mack Adams, Mrs. Odessa Adams-Johnson and Mr. Bennie James Johnson. He is survived by and leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Roxsan Willingham-Madison of Stamps, Arkansas. His three brothers, Adam Scott (Dominique) Madison of Puyallup Washington, Rodney Madison and Justin Madison of Seattle Washington. One sister, Crystal Danielle Madison of Lewisville, Arkansas. A host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and former co-workers.

Funeral service will be at the Lafayette County School Auditorium, Saturday October 22, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. where Rev. Gary Madison will serve as Officiant and Eulogist. A walk-through visitation will be held at the Hamilton-Davis Chapel, 415 East First Street, Stamps, Arkansas, Friday, October 21, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
