July 11, 1937 – November 11, 2023

Ms. Viola Price, 86, of Texarkana, Arkansas, formerly of Lewisville, Arkansas and Los Angeles, California, passed away peacefully at Bentley Health and Rehabilitation Center of Texarkana after a long bout with illness.

Ms. Viola was born in Lewisville, Arkansas, to the late Mr. Ezekiel Williams and the late Mrs. Izetta Heard – Williams, July 11, 1937. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend.

Ms. Price was a very hard-working woman and was employed by the Los Angeles Unified School District until she retired.

Ms. Price was preceded in death by both of her parents and a daughter, Maybelline Williams. Four brothers, Sam, Ezekiel, Jr., James, and a twin brother who died at birth. Five sisters, Armie Lee, Leola, Mary Helen, Alice, and Liza. She leaves to share her memories, two brothers, L.C. (Debra) Williams of Lewisville, Arkansas and L.B. (Lynette) Williams of Texarkana, Arkansas. Five sisters, Beulah Walker of Sacramento, California, Ruby Mays, of Columbus, Ohio, Minnie (Leroy) McAdoo of Hawthorne, California, Lurenza (Earnest) Manning of Richmond, California, and Tisha Williams of Lewisville, Arkansas. Two grandchildren, Aisha (Billy) Woods of Texarkana, Arkansas, and Charlie (Tomeka) Littlejohn of Englewood, California. Three adoptive grandsons, Cedric McAdoo of Palmdale, California, Marcus McAdoo of Quartz Hills, California and Adrian McAdoo of Hawthorne, California. A host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Service for Ms. Price will be held at Hamilton-Davis Funeral Home Chapel, 415 East First Street, Stamps, Arkansas at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, November 18, 2023, where Pastor Frank Byers will serve as the Officiant and Eulogist, under the direction of the Hamilton-Davis Funeral Home Staff. A visitation will be held in the Hamilton-Davis Chapel on Friday, November 18, 2023, from 11:00 A.m. until 3:30 P.M.

Interment will be immediately following her service in the Old Town Cemetery, Highway 29 North at Cemetery Road in Lewisville, Arkansas.
