Sherry Wise Obituary

Ms. Sherry Marie Wise, of Lewisville, Arkansas passed away at Wadley Regional Medical Center-Texarkana, the afternoon of October 25, 2024, after a long bout with health issues. She was a beloved sister, niece, and friend. She loved to cook, shop, decorate, and give gifts.

She was born to Otis Wise and Johnnie Bell Sims on September 18, 1969 in Stamps, Arkansas. She was the proud graduate of the 1987 Class at Stamps High School and attended college at Southern Arkansas University Magnolia, Arkansas. She worked many years at Tyson Foods.

She is survived by and leaves to cherish her many memories her father Otis Wise and mother Johnnie Bell Sims of Lewisville, Arkansas, her brother Chris Sims (Chrisie) of Lewisville, Arkansas. She raised as sons Kristopter Jamarion Sims, Kotortez Sims, and Jamarion Sims all of Lewisville, Arkansas. A special friend and caretaker Monta Burnett of Texarkana, Arkansas, a great niece ZaKariya Burnett and a special friend Mr. Travis Burnett.

Her service will be held at the Hamilton-Davis Funeral Home Chapel; 415 East First Street, Saturday November 9, 2024 at 2:30 P. M. where Pastor Ray Johnson will serve as the Officiant and Eulogist, under the direction of the Hamilton-Davis Funeral Home and it's staff. A public Visitation will be held on Friday, November 8, 2024 from 11:00 A M. until 3:30 P.M. Interment will be immediately following her service at Union Hill-Boyd in Lewisville, Arkansas.
