Ricky Williams Sr. Obituary

Ricky C. Williams Sr. (66) passed away at his home on August 2, 2024. He was a life long resident of Stamps, Arkansas and was a graduate of Stamps class of 1977. Mr. Williams had a natural talent for creating things. He enjoyed cooking, fishing, carpentry, WWE, and especially enjoyed trips to his favorite store Hobby Lobby or Hibby Hibby as he would call it. He would often create necklaces and bracelets for his family and friends and when he was not creating things, he loved to draw pictures and build things. When he was able Mr. Williams worked many jobs to include Deltic, Alan White, and Marlon-Whistle. He was a member of the Greenville Baptist Church.

Mr. Williams was born to the late Major Williams Sr. and Mary Lee Revels-Wyrick on August 1, 1958 in Stamps, Arkansas and was proceeded in death by his parents, four brothers; Major Williams Jr., Otis Ray Williams, Allen J. Williams, Kevin D. Williams and one sister Goldie M. Wright.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife and friend Helen Williams of Hope, two sons, Sigmund Dunn of Hope, and Ricky C. Williams Jr. (Marvesha) of Texarkana; Two Daughters Tonya Williams (Mark) of Texarkana and Rhonda Williams of magnolia; three sisters Linda Williams of Stamps, Joyce Sterling and Lazell Williams both of Camden, and one brother Jerry Humphrey (Josephine) of Detroit, MI.; Six grandchildren LayUndra Curry, Jaylon Williams, Omarion Poindexter (Ashanti), Zayla Shears, Za'Riyah Johnson, and Zori Williams; and one great grandchild Asiya Curry; three brothers in law, and five sisters in law

Services will be held at the Hamilton-Davis Funeral Home on August 10, 2024 at 11:00 with interment immediately after at the Lakeside cemetery.

A Public visitation will be held on Friday August 9, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
