Ricardo Dontez Wimbley, Sr.
December 10, 1981 - October 25, 2025
Mr. Ricardo D. Wimbley Sr, 43, of Stamps, Arkansas passed away unexpectedly at Magnolia Regional Medical Center in the early morning hours of October 25, 2025. Ricardo was a beloved son, grandson, father, grandfather, uncle, cousin and friend. He was a hard worker who loved to have a good time.
He was born on December 10, 1981, in Lewisville, Arkansas, to the late Mr. Richard Porchia and Mrs. Doris Wimbley – Thompson of Hope, Arkansas. He spent the greater part of his life in the care of his grandmother, Ms. Josephine Wimbley, and all his school years in Stamps and the Stamps School District. He loved to cook, dance, work on his vehicles, play silly games with the kids in the community, and watch his son as he played at many sporting events. He especially loved spending time with his grandson and would do anything he could for anyone in need.
He was preceded in death by his biological father, Mr. Richard Porchia and is survived by his mother, Mrs. Doris Thompson of Hope, Arkansas. His bonus parents, Mr. James (Cynthia) Ward, Jr. Three sons, Ricardo Wimbley, Jr. (Keshunna), Ty’Darrious Weaver, and Tahj Sanders. One Daughter Tey’Aura Anderson. Three brothers, James C. Ward, Jaime Ward and Stevie (Stephanie) Johnson. Seven Sisters, Cynthia (James) Easter, LaDonna Porchia, Shimica (Quay) Stevenson, Katrina Ward, Shatora (KeArthur) Brantley, Cynetra Ward and Kamari Wyrick. His only grandson, Kamryn Zy’Aire Wimbley. His grandparents, Ms. Josephine Wimbley, Ms. Edna Williams, Ms. Georgia Jones and Ms. Dorothy Porchia. Close friends of the family, Mr. Jermaine Smith, Mr. C, Demetrius Grant, Mr. Tony Sterling, the Gilkey and Sterling families. Special nieces, Cynethia J. Easter, Jamesa M. Easter, and Emaree Lewis. Special cousin, Tecora Carter-Johnson, and a special friend Jennifer Franklin.
His service will be held at Hamilton-Davis Funeral Home Chapel, 415 East First Street, Stamps, Arkansas 71860, on Saturday November 15, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. where Pastor David Walters will serve as Officiant and Eulogist. There will be a public visitation at Hamilton-Davis Funeral Home Chapel on Friday November 14, 2025, from 11:00 A.M. until 3:30 P.M. and on Saturday November 15, 2025 from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. There will not be another viewing after the eulogy. His interment will be immediately following his service on Saturday at Lakeside Cemetery off Gravel and Valley Street in Stamps, Arkansas 71860.
