Obituary For Norma D Walker

Mrs. Norma Dean Walker, 78, of Foreman passed away peacefully on May 4, 2026, at Pleasant Manor Nursing Home surrounded by care and comfort.

Mama Norma (as most affectionately called her), was the heart of her family, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and matriarch whose love was felt in every phone call, home-cooked meal, and word of wisdom she shared. Known for her strong spirit, unwavering faith, and nurturing nature, she dedicated much of her life to her family and church community. Though firm and spirited, her love ran deep and steady, wrapping generations of family in guidance, protection, and care.

She leaves behind her Husband Mr. Henderson Leslie Walker, 2 daughters Joyce Smith of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma & Armishea Mathis of Dallas, Texas, 3 grandchildren Patrice (Stevphon) Curry of Moore, Oklahoma, Kewon White of Dallas, Texas & Iviona Robinson of Chicago,Illinois, 7 Great Grandchildren (Marquita, Jareese, Chardnay, Paradise, Sir, Kingston & Malaysia), and a legacy of strength, resilience, and unconditional love that will continue to live on in all who knew her. Her presence was a lighthouse in the lives of many, and she will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

Everyone always said they couldn't tell you two apart but I could ... I always knew I could get away with more with Auntie Thelma Jean, but I had to straighten up & act right with Auntie Norma Dean!
