Mary Ann Smith Johnson

January 31, 1962 – May 18, 2024

Ms. Mary Ann Smith Johnson, 62 of Victoria, Texas, formerly of Foreman, Arkansas passed away in a Victoria, Texas Hospital after a long battle with health concerns. She was a beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend.

She was born, January 31, 1962, to the late Mr. Benjamin J. Smith and Mrs. Willie Mae Reeves-Smith in Little River County, Arkansas, she would become the youngest of their five children and the only daughter. She dedicated her life to Christ at an early age and became a member of the St. Rest Baptist Church and remained a member there until her death. She attended Foreman High School where graduated and developed a lifetime of friendships and relationships.

She was preceded in death by her father, Mr. Benjamin J. Smith, her maternal grandparents, Mr. Horace and Creola Reeves and her paternal grandparents, Mr. Vaughn Smith and Ms. Olean Johnson.

She leaves to celebrate and cherish her many memories, her mother, Mrs. Willie Mae Smith. Her four brothers, Mr. Benjamin Smith of Loredo, Texas, Mr. Leevert Smith of Milane, Texas, Mr. Jimmy Ray (Stephanie) Smith of Tulsa Oklahoma and Mr. Willish Cleveland (Brenda) Smith of Romulus, Michigan. Her uncle Mr. Horace (Marsha) Reeves and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.

Her service will be held Sunday, May 26, 2024, at 1:00 P.M. at St. Rest Baptist Church, 2107 Highway 32 West, Ashdown, Arkansas 71822 where Pastor Ronnie Christiana will serve as Officiant and Eulogist under the direction of Hamilton-Davis Funeral Home with interment immediately following her service at French Cemetery Little River 160, Foreman, Arkansas, 71836.
