Lucy M. Williams

August 13, 1945 – April 2, 2026

Miss Lucy M. Williams, 80, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, formerly of Lewisville, Arkansas, was born on August 13, 1945, in Lewisville, Arkansas to the late Othean and Varlia Williams. She received her wings on Wednesday, April 2, 2026, at her home in Pine Bluff, AR.

At an early age, Lucy confessed her savior Jesus Christ. She graduated from Foster High School in 1962, and, after graduation, she devoted her life to cooking positions, raising children and spending time with her family. Lucy was known for her caring spirit and retired from the Darlington House, a nursing facility, in Toledo, OH.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Willis Cox; her Father and Mother, Othean and Varlia Williams; her sisters, Betty Carroll, Janiece Williams, and Jo Ann Williams; her brothers, Donald Williams and Thomas Williams; her grandparents; Annie Williams, Alice Braggs and Sidney Campbell; her maternal aunt; Emma Jackson and her granddaughter, Jasmine Smith.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories her sisters, Annie Cole of Pine Bluff, AR, and Doris Williams of Chester, VA; a brother, Mozell (Thelma) Williams of West Memphis, AR; a daughter, Elaine (Cedric) West, Flowood, MS and six grandchildren (Breana Jacobs; Jayrizon, Jasmeona, Janiah, and Trevion, JR Smith of Toledo, OH, and Jarvis Jacobs of Flowood, MS and a god-daughter Sylvia (Ronnie] Walker of Toledo, OH, and a host of other relatives and dear friends who will forever hold her memory in their hearts. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Visitation from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. just prior to her Service on Saturday April 11, 2026, at Hamilton-Davis Funeral Home Chapel, 415 East First Street, Stamps, Arkansas 71860.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at the chapel of Hamilton-Davis Funeral Home, 415 East First Street; Stamps, Arkansas 71860 where her brother, Mozell Williams will serve as Officiant and Eulogist. Her interment will be immediately following her service at Union Hill – Boyd Cemetery, Lafayette County Road 44; Lewisville, AR 71845.
