Lovella L. (Langston) Jones

September 20, 1955 - January 2, 2024

Ms. Lovella (Louella) Langston - Jones 68, of Lewisville, Arkansas, formerly of Stamps, Arkansas passed away peacefully at Wadley Regional Medical Center in Texarkana, Texas. Ms. Louella was a lifelong resident of Lafayette County, living all of those years in either Stamps, Arkansas or Lewisville, Arkansas. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She was one of those people who was completely real and always the same every time she was seen.

She was born to the late Mr. Ben Langston and the late Mrs. Cora Lee Newton-Langston, September 20, 1955 and was preceded in death by both parents, her older brother, George Lee Morgan and an older sister, Mrs. Lurine Williams, all of whom she loved very much and was never ashamed to let it be known.

Ms. Louella is survived by and leaves to cherish her loving memory, an adoptive son, Mr. Albert Langston. Two brothers, Mr. Bennie Lee Langston and Mr. Troy Lee Langston, both of Muskegon, Michigan. Three sisters, Ms. Janell (Jewell) Gant of Prescott, Arkansas, Mrs. Dorothy Lee (Charlie) Brown of Lewisville, Arkansas and Mrs. Clemetine (Edward) Howell of Hope, Arkansas and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Her service will be held at St. Paul Baptist Church, 303 Fort Street, Lewisville, Arkansas on Sunday, January 14, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. where Pastor David Walters will serve as Officiant and Eulogist. Her interment will be immediately following the service at Lakeside Cemetery on Valley Street in Stamps, Arkansas under the direction of Hamilton-Davis Funeral Home. There will be a public visitation for her at Hamilton-Davis Funeral Home Chapel, 415 East First Street, Stamps, Arkansas 71860 on Friday January 12, 2024 from 11:00 A.M. until 3:30 P.M.
