Mr. Jimmy Lee Curry

January 12, 1953 – April 28, 2022

Mr. Jimmy Lee Curry, 69, of Waldo Arkansas, passed away after a lengthy illness at Magnolia Regional Medical Center, Thursday April 28, 2022. He was born January 12, 1953, in Waldo, Arkansas to the late Mr. Courtney and the late Mrs. Ruby Pearl Smith-Curry.

Mr. Curry was a U.S. Army Veteran who loved clothes and was a very well-dressed man, enjoyed listening to old-school music and was a lover of any sporting event, especially basketball.

He was preceded in death by both his parents, a brother Douglas Curry and a brother-in-law, Mr. Charles Johnston. He is survived by two brothers, Mr. James Curry of Magnolia, Arkansas and Mr. Christopher Curry of Waldo, Arkansas. Three sisters, Mrs. Mary Ann Jackson and her husband Johnnie of Dallas Texas, Mrs. Linda Jean Johnston and Mrs. Carolyn Sellers and her husband James of Dallas, Texas as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Service will be held Saturday May 7, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. in the Hamilton-Davis Funeral Home Chapel - Stamps, Arkansas where Pastor Hal Prevoe will serve as Officiant and Eulogist. Interment will be immediately after at Smith Cemetery, Highway 82 East at Columbia County Rd 27 in Waldo, Arkansas.

Visitation will be held at Hamilton-Davis Funeral Home Chapel, 415 East First Street, Stamps, Arkansas. Friday May 6, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
