November 1, 1955 – July 11, 2023

Mrs. Jeanne W. Darner, 67, of Bradley, Arkansas, passed away on the evening of July 11, 2023 after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Darner was a loving housewife, mother, sister and friend. She was a very active member of the Methodist Church until her health failed. Mrs. Darner was a collector of anything connected to Coca-Cola and her favorite color was red. She was an animal lover, especially of her two dogs and cats.

She was born November 1, 1955 to the late Mr. Josiah Wright and the late Mrs. Bettye Martin-Wright. She was preceded in death by both of her parents. She is survived by her husband of more than twenty- five years, Mr. Donald Darner. Three sons, Richard (Destiny) Allen of Shreveport, Louisiana, Joey Allen of Bradley, Arkansas and Chris (Sonja) Allen of Houston, Texas. Her bonus children, Jeffrey Darner of Walker’s Creek, Arkansas and Kristie Darner of Shreveport, Louisiana. Her adopted brother, Mr. Chuck (Norma) Wright of Memphis Tennessee and bonus sister, Ms. Carol Kolwicz. Twelve grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Her service will be held Saturday morning, July 15, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. in Bradley Methodist Church, 103 North Pilot Street, Bradley, Arkansas 71826, where Brother Tommy Weems will serve as the Officiant and Eulogist. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M. and interment will be at Walnut Hill Cemetery immediately after her service.
