Mrs. Ida Mae Mannings

October 17, 1935 – December 17, 2022

Mrs. Ida Mannings, 87, of Mineral Springs, Arkansas passed away after a brief illness at Howard County Memorial Hospital, Nashville, Arkansas, Saturday, December 17, 2022. Mrs. Manning was born to Mr. Jessie Alexander and Mrs. Blanchie Vaughn-Alexander, October 17, 1935 in Howard County, Arkansas.

Mrs. Mannings was a peculiar woman, who was dedicated to the service of God, Corinth Baptist Church, the Pastor and wife. She was described by her granddaughter a Diva who always had to be well dressed and always together because she was very particular about how people perceived her .

She always had her hands on something productive and worked at Tyson Foods until her retirement. She was preceded in death by her parents and one grandson, Rodney Rowe.

Mrs. Mannings is survived by her two children, her son Mr. Denzel (Charlene) Mannings of Nashville, Arkansas, her daughter Mrs. Stella (Norman) Rowe of Tollette, Arkansas. Two brothers, Mr. Jessie Alexander of Phoenix, Arizona and Mr. Leon (Melvina) Alexander, Sr. of Lockesburg, Arkansas. Three grandsons, Denzel Lane, Courtney Rowe, Christopher Lane and a granddaughter Hope Rowe. One great-grandson Kason Williams, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and former co-workers.

Homegoing Celebration will be held at Corinth First Baptist Church, 279 Corinth Road; Mineral Springs Arkansas, 71851, Saturday December 31, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. where Pastor Maurice Henry will serve as Officiant and Eulogist. There will be a public visitation at Hamilton-Davis Funeral Home Chapel, 415 East First Street, Stamps, Arkansas Friday December 30, 2022 from 11:00 A.M. until 3:30 P.M. Interment will be at Crofton Cemetery in Tollette, Arkansas immediately after the service.
