Mrs. Chrystal Konssinetta Johnson – Gulley, 46, of Rosston, Arkansas, passed away at Christus St. Michael Health Care System of Texarkana on Thursday, May 21, 2026. She was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, cousin and friend. To all those who loved her, knew her and were considered friends, she was just Chris.
She was born September 5, 1978, in Camden Arkansas to the late Larry and Renail Johnson.
She was preceded in death by both parents. Her maternal grandparents, Mr. Marvin Watts, Sr. and Mrs. Edna Watts. Her paternal grandfather, Mr. Thomas Johnson, her aunts, Ms. Shirley Marsh and Ms. Charlotte Watts, her uncle, Mr. Jerry Paden and two cousins, Justin Fields and Jeremy Watts.
Chrystal became a member of Roston Crossroad Church of Christ in Rosston, Arkansas at an early age and spent her formative years in the Nevada School District. She went on to work at Medical Park Hospital as a Dietary Aid for 10 years while obtaining her Associate Degree in Healthcare Administration. Later she would go to work as a Certified Nurse’s Aide.
Chrystal loved spending time with her granddaughter Ah’Yanni helping others, She was an avid hunter and spent as much time as she could outdoors with her husband and sons hunting, fishing, and riding four wheelers.
She leaves to cherish her many memories, her loving husband of thirty-four years, Antonio Gulley, and two sons, Janntonio, Jabradon Gulley, and one granddaughter, Ah”Yanni Gulley, All of Rosston, Arkansas. Five sisters Aishia (Parnell) Riley of Prescott, Arkansas, Candice Palmer (Trezvan Carrigan) of Gurdon, Arkansas, Stephanie Marsh (Fred Smart) of Dallas, Texas, Tameka (Dexter} Flenory, of Hope, Arkansas, and Angela Williams. Three brothers Edward Barzer of Prescott, Arkansas, LaGiorgio (Tyreshawn) Gulley of Little Rock, Arkansas, Colvin (Candy) Beasley, of Hope, Arkansas. Her grandmother Mrs. Lucille Johnson of Waldo, Arkansas, Her godfather Randolph Gulley of Prescott, Arkansas, and a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, cousins, in-laws, friends, and former co-workers.
Her service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday June 6. 2026, at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 1530 Arkansas 200, Rosston, Arkansas 71858 where Pastor L.C. Gilliam will serve as Officiant and Minister Gregory Gulley will serve as Eulogist. There will not be a public visitation prior to her service on Saturday. Interment will be immediately following her service at Harrison Chapel Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, 1019 U.S. Highway 76, Rosston, Arkansas 71858.
Masks are optional but highly recommended.
